Rush to Vote for The Best of Fair Oaks
Dec 16, 2020 12:00AM ● By By Ryan GriffithFAIR OAKS, CA (MPG) - It's that time of year again where the community casts their votes for their favorite businesses, organizations, events and more in Fair Oaks!
The 5th Annual Best of Fair Oaks opened up voting on November 12th at www.bestoffairoaks.com. Community members can cast their votes for their favorites through December 24th and the winners will be announced January 21st, 2021. Last year's Best of Fair Oaks race was a huge success with 12,195 votes and 265 contenders in 47 categories - the biggest turnout yet! There is no cost to participate - anyone can vote and being a nominee is free as well. Ads, sponsorships and enhanced nominee listings, however, are all available starting at $15. A portion of the revenue generated will go to the Fair Oaks Youth Outreach (FOYO) scholarship fund.
Of course, this year is not without new challenges due to the COVID pandemic. The aspirations for a big gala at North Ridge Country Club are not likely to be realized. Our past awards nights have been standing room only events, organized and hosted by FOYO under the expert guidance of Kim Pitillo, FOCC Executive Director. Event information will be posted on the www.bestoffairoaks.com website as the details come together, so stay tuned!
